The Dress Debate is Over

About a couple of weeks ago, someone posted a picture of a dress that started the national debate: blue and black or white and gold. I have heard lots of heated arguments over the color of this dress while walking around campus. This past week, the debate finally ended and it turns out that the dress it actually blue and black. Honestly, I was stunned to when I first heard the news. I thought the pictures I seen online had to be photoshopped. There is a scientific reason to way people see the dress in the two different colors, according to this article I found on CNN.com. There are tiny cones in the back of our eyes that make us see things differently depending on our genes. You can see more of this scientific explanation is the video above.
